Welcome to CT Bikes! Great to Have You.

Woke up and walked to Target for some grocery shopping. Still really hot here in the mornings and hard core hip hop is still bumpin' loud in the streets. On the way there I decided to stop at the library because there is a used bookstore in the Starbucks. Good choice! Hard backs $3 paper backs $1. They have a box and you just put in your money and get a new book! A lady wrote a note in the book I got, she said this book changed her whole perspective on life. I thought, "if I were to rave about a book like she did it had to be a good book!" So I got it!
It's from the author of Angela's Ashes which is supposed to be an awesome book!

After working out and doing some work I went to the pool with my friend Katie and our new friend Ellie. She is here for the week with her husband. Perfect day for swimming, it was so hot!

When I was making dinner the doorbell rings, guess who it is? The UPS man! The UPS man must have a good job because everyone likes receiving packages so everyone must like seeing the UPS man! Anyways he had our bikes! YAY! When Newel got home we set them up right away! It got a little confusing but we figured it out. I'm nervous to ride by myself so I'll probably wait for Newel. He's really excited to ride to work tomorrow though! We just got back from buying bike locks so we're ready to go.  (Mom notice I used an apostrophe in we're. Good job Aly huh!) Newel played basketball with his work friends tonight and me and Katie hung out and watched. Now we're going to have heath ice cream because we're newly obsessed with it!
Night! Jesus loves you!

  1. I love this blog!! Please - for Jeff - try to get to a Yankees game... I don't know how, but you've got to try.
I love that you are being so brave, and touristy. Are you able to go to any church history places? If you plan ahead you could do so many great things on the weekends!
I am living vicariously through you so make it count!
    Love you both, minda
