Freakin Weekend

Time for the apartment tour!

So you walk in and on the left is the kitchen. It's definitely nice to have, but definitely not equipped to cook my normal meals. Time to think outside the box I suppose!

Then you walk in a little farther and there is the living room/dining room. We have TV now, weird. Were not going crazy though so maybe we can handle one when we get home, don't tell Newel I said that!














When you turn to the right of the dining/living room you go down the hall and on the right is the REALLY white bathroom with a HUGE mirror! It'll be real nice getting ready for church on Sunday because I won't have to beg Newel for some mirror time! Yes Dad those are Newel's wipes he has to uh wipe sweat of his face.

Back to the hall if you go to the left instead of the right there is our bedroom that happens to not have an overhead light so it get's dark in there around 6. Dad that TV that is next to the lap top and is as big as the lap top was the original TV in the living room Newel said was tiny! They traded it before I got there.

Then we have the closet. It's just any old walk in closet except for one thing! Notice the shoes. Aren't girls supposed to have more shoes??

I almost forgot because I haven't gone out there very much yet but we also have a patio. There are lot's on big buildings around us and the busy street is right outside but it is surrounded by trees which is so nice! Makes it feel more private.

Today was a pool day for me! After I worked out my friend Katie came over and we went and laid out. I finished my book Return from Tomorrow I think it was called. Pretty good, quick read! Laid out in overcast humidity for and hour and a half, the humidity does feel really nice when you're just laying out instead of walking in lot's of layers through the city.

After work Newel and I went to Target for groceries. I needed some help today so we could stalk our kitchen so I will only have to grocery shop every other day instead of twice a day. This is how we grocery shop now. Good thing we brought a huge backpack. Definitely a good idea! I actually like all this walking were doing. It's nice to get out and walk around even if it's down the street to the grocery store.

Newel worked real hard his first week! Today was a good day of work for him. His first day on the floor. After dinner he took an hour and a half nap. He claims only 30 min. but that's how long I slept for. But he definitely earned that sleep!

Tomorrow were going to go into New York City! Don't know what were going to do yet! If it was as muggy as it was today I think were going to do museums so we can stay inside a little bit more and we can do the other touristy stuff next time.
