Next we took the subway and went to Central Park. There were so many people there working out it was like there was a big bike/roller blade/running race. We sat on a bench, ate lunch, and rested our feet. It was real nice!
After the Park we went to the Museum of Natural History. It was pretty cool! I didn't realize it was the same museum on Night at the Museum. My favorite section was the dinosaurs, Newel's too! We didn't make it to every part of the museum because it was so big!
After that museum we got a little lost on the subway but then we made our way to the MoMA (Museum of Modern Art). If you've seen our facebook page recently you will see Starry Night. We also saw Picaso and Monet, as well as soon really weird art. But that's modern art for ya! We should have done the audio tour but we got there to late and they weren't giving them out anymore.
After all our Mew-Salmon (get it!) We were REAL tired. So we made our way to a road with lot's of restaurants and started our dinner search. The winner was a lobster restaurant, the name had the word claw it in but I couldn't tell you the whole name the only thing on my mind at that point was getting off my feet and putting food in my mouth. It was really good! I got chicken tenders of course. My adventurous food for the day was putting a pineapple sauce thing on my chicken tenders. Newel got a lobster surf and turf sandwich type thing. I guess it looked good, he said it was!

After church our friends came over and we had a fun little BBQ because our apartment has lot's of them. Except we ate inside because it was so humid today which was a good idea because it started pouring! The thunder was so loud Newel and I literally jumped off the couch! We like having friends here it makes it even more fun!
I didn't put all our pictures on because it takes too long to upload them and I don't think I'll get to it tonight so keep your eyes out on facebook because that's where I will be putting them.
Ready for a new week!
Lainey wants to know if you saw Buddy The Elf's Dad at the Empire State Building. Looks like you are having so much fun. I am even more jealous. Live it up, we miss you.

I am so afraid of heights and elevators, I am not jealous. Have fun. Grandma PP
ReplyDeleteKeep up the blogging. You're doing a great job, unlike your little sister, but she's just in Ghana so I'm not worried at all. No bikes yet?
